Following the discussion with Joanna, reworked this and processed most of the basics in Raw prior to conversion to TIFF and Jpg. I like it more. Comments welcome.
Me too. Speaking honestly, it just looks so much more natural than it did before. The lighting is more evenly distributed, there is no crushing of the blacks and it has lost the grittiness of the first. A keeper methinks.
Great shot. I really prefer your original posting to the alternatives - probably because of the tones/contrast. Also the vignette really suits the image and I like vignettes.
